E-Prescribing

e-prescribing is included as an add-on to our electronic medical records system. e-prescribing (electronic prescribing) system is used to send prescription information electronically from from a physician's computer system to the pharmacy computer system. E-prescribing is used as a replacement for the traditional, old paper prescriptions that were used.

By providing electronic prescriptions, doctors can expedite prescriptions faster, more accurately and less chance of loss. Patients enjoy the benefit of faster medications. Traditionally a patient would have to wait while a subscription is being filled, however with e-prescribing patients can often times walk right in and pick-up the completed electronic prescription.
